Most of our work involves complete systems and applications, but we can also take ownership of a clearly defined part of a larger project. We agree the scope and responsibilities, then deliver that part independently while coordinating with other teams wherever the wider system requires it.
We take ownership of a defined scope
Rather than simply adding developers to your team, we prefer to take responsibility for a defined part of the project. That might be a system module, mobile application, backend, integration or another clearly separated area that we can design, build and deliver independently.
We work autonomously
Once the scope is agreed, we organise the work on our side. You do not need to manage our developers or assign individual tasks. We are responsible for delivering the agreed part of the project and keep you informed about progress and decisions that require input from both sides.
We coordinate where the systems meet
When our part of the project connects to software developed by your team or another supplier, we agree the APIs, data formats, technical requirements and deployment approach together. Each team can work independently while the integration points remain clearly defined.
From one module to a complete product
The scope can range from one part of a larger system to a complete product. If it becomes clear that handing us the whole delivery would make more sense, we can run the project from analysis and architecture through development, deployment, maintenance and further development.
We build the team around the scope
The team depends on the project. We can use people already working at NAOS or, when the scope and schedule require it, expand the team specifically for the engagement. The organisation of the team delivering our scope remains our responsibility.
Common questions
Do your developers work directly inside our team?
Not as our standard model. We prefer to take responsibility for a defined part of the project and deliver it independently. We still work closely with your engineers where architecture, APIs, integrations or other shared elements need to be agreed.
How much of a project can you take on?
Anything from a single module or integration to a complete application or system. What matters is having a clear division of responsibilities, known dependencies and a well-defined expected result.
Can you expand the team specifically for our project?
Yes. If the project requires skills or capacity that we do not currently have available, we can include additional recruitment when planning the engagement.
Can you work alongside our team or another supplier?
Yes. We agree the division of responsibilities and the technical integration points between teams. Each side can deliver its part independently while coordinating the elements needed to make the whole system work together.
